Tbh,i dont really care any more,bin shafted by them all my life,dont thik i got much longer anyway... But...I am running my campervan on old chip oil on the occasional journey out.so SUCKS bOO YA to the slimies who control my life. Ok that will stop on Jan 3rd 2012 when LEZ starts as i wont then be able to use it at all...Well i could pay £100 a day,every day...!!! Fuel Prices Received this today as an email and just wondered what other people's opinions were: Please see what you think and pass it on if you agree with it. We are hitting £129.9 a litre in some areas now and soon we will be faced with paying £1.50 per litre. So Philip Hollsworth offered this good idea: This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the 'don't buy petrol on a certain day campaign' that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to hurt ourselves by refusing to buy petrol. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them. BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can really work. Please read it and join in! Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a litre is CHEAP, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS - not sellers control the market place. With the price of petrol going up more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to see the price of petrol come down is if we hit someone in the pocket by not purchasing their petrol! And we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves. Here's the idea: For the rest of this year DON'T purchase ANY petrol from the two biggest oil companies (which now are one) i.e. ESSO and BP. If they are not selling any petrol, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit. But to have an impact we need to reach literally millions of Esso and BP petrol buyers. It's really simple to do!! Now, don't wimp out on me at this point... keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! I am sending this note to a lot of people. If all of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)....and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) ... and so on. By the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers! If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it...... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!! Again, all YOU have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all (and not buy at ESSO/BP). How long would all that take? If each of us sends this email out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!! My facts are personal exprience & those of my family & friends,Lived in 4 bedroom town house in Brooks Court ec1 for 15 years plus.Work based in Inns of Court & Leather lane for most of them. I drank in the local pubs & a lot of the conversation was about just those subjects. Traveled many miles most days all over london by car,cab & public transport so i have seen a lot of moronic road users of all types. As it happens a lot of my friends were Australian :Smiler: I think you will find that most of the roads & streets were built by the Romans as for use by Horses & Carts which are definately vehicles...

Turning off cameras does not work,When i lived in brookis court off grays inn road they turned them off at greys inn road/high holborn & grays inn rd/theobolds road junctions as an experiment for 3 months. It lasted less than 3 weeks as accidents & injuries trebled and area became gridlocked every day. Pedestrans came off worst tho. As for bikes doing what they want, i was myself knocked over by cyclist ignoring red light,know lots of other people who have been hit by them as well. I was also a witness when a child who was passenger in a car was seriously hurt by mother swerving to miss red light runner cyclist and hitting another car. Cyclist just stuck his/her fingers up and kept going. In my opinion professional cyclists especially should have to be insured against damage,injury to others and should have some form of easy identification on bikes. Mind you,just ignore me,i only lived amongst it for over 15 years and encountered it from all sides on daily basis. STICK BY MY STATEMENT,ROADS ARE FOR VEHICLES,PAVEMENTS ARE FOR PEDESTRIANS. They were built for vehicles,and have been paid for many times over by motorists.

Still say that global warning is the biggest con since religeon,Invented just to make more money in taxes & sell "green" goods. Its climate change ffs.

I have no hatred of muslems in any way shape or form unless they are terrorists or supporters of terrorism etc and the views in this letter are supported real moslems as i have discovered by taking it round my local shops this morning,all owned & staffed by "British moslems" as they ;like to be thought of. They all agreed with every one of the comments in the letter & had it photocopied so they can show it to friends. Their opinion is that their faith has been hijacked by the terrorists & media & that in their various lands of origin only a very small minority have any animosity towards the west. It is not anti Moslems it is anti terrorist & this they applaud.

So it was the terrorists & i was tarting to be persuaded that it was the uk gov...

Thought you might like to read this letter to the editor of a British national newspaper. Ever notice how some people just seem to know how to write a letter?. Here is a woman who should run for Prime Minister or President of the U.S. Written by a housewife, to her daily newspaper. This is one ticked off lady. 'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores in July 2002, and in New York Sept 11,2001 and have continually threatened to do so since? Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day in London , and in downtown Manhattan , a field in Pennsylvania and the Pentagon.? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they? And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban were claiming to be tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting against in a brutal insurgency. I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11 and 7/7. I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques and behind women and children. I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of Nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
