Sounds like a good idea to me. I've picked myself up a dummies version of home networking, i know when i first looked at the dummies books they were fairly good so hopefully this will do the trick and educate even me. All1

I'm trying to find something decent looking to put my little mid hifi on Marantz M CR603 (Maximum Dimensions (W x D x H) in mm280 x 302 x 111) been looking on ebay for a couple of weeks but no go so was wondering if anyone on here works with this kind of material, if so how much would a custom build cost to the measurements above build or do people have other suggestions on what to mount it on, vibration should not be an issue for the CD player as all music will be fed via iPod Classic, DAB or TV and at a later date music server (when i get my head round networking) All1

OK I'm fairly tech savvy on most IT stuff but networks and networking has always got away from me and i have never understood things. What I'm trying to do is to get my IT stuff to talk to each other as much as possible in the flat, so for example these are the things i want to learn about Getting my WD TV Live to allow to stream from folder within my PC, also allowing my Samsung to connect wirelessly to my PC and stream from the folder in there, DLNA, HDCP, streaming from my Foxsat HDR with custom firmware to other TV, Apple's airplay to M-CR603, bluetooth on PC to stream to M-CR603 etc etc, so as you can see there is a host for me to learn, i don't just want people to tell me how to do stuff i'd rather learn myself from the floor up rather then just picking someone else's brain. So my question to everyone here is do any of you know of a decent forums or websites or even magazines that will help me learn more about networking, networks in particular home networking. All1

Personally i don't think anyone is saying anything other then that, from my POV I agree with you 100% however what i have an issue with is how much evidence can there be from 40+ years ago, i know some of the woman in the Hall case never knew each other but just people saying something is not evidence IMO. Agreed to a a point, last time i check I was allowed my own point of view and this is what you, Jamer and others are getting just MY point of view, and don't place too much trust in the British legal system from personal experience i can tell you it does it wrong way too often. What gets me is how the CPS thinks they will get a conviction out of this. Let’s give the person who bought the allegation the benefit of the doubt and lets say he is guilty how the hell will you get a conviction unless the then 15 year old had the forethought to keep some semen sample or something I just don't see how the hell you will get a conviction, also as far as money goes is Mr Roach not bankrupt now so won't have shed loads of money. If the victim can remain anon then so should the accused until he/she is convicted because whatever way you look at it he will always have this black mark over him. All1

I have nothing against the census in theory, to be honest we need it to some degree, but i think they ask too many questions and more importantly I can't trust our govt on what they will do with the info, after all it was not so long ago that we were being told only people who could access dvla info was dvla staff and plod and we all know what crap that info was, any way enough of that thanks for the links i'll have a look at them when i get up later. OK as some of you may know i have a fair collection of old UK Info CD's (about 9/10 editions) which come in handy tracking people down even though some of the information is very very old but I have now been given a task to trace someone not only where they live today but as much family info as i can for example mothers name did she have any children if so names etc, did she marry is she divorced etc etc in a nutshell as much as i can get on them. All i have been given is a first and last name and a date when she lived at an address, having used all my version of UK Info i have found a single entry for her in 1994 version, from that info i have found her mothers name, I also know a rough date of birth (Scorpio birth sign 23 Oct - 22 Nov and between years 1964 and 1968), someone else came on to voters list in 2001 edition (which i presume was 2000 register) but was only there for a year or 2 and then moved into there own place where they have set up 4 companies from that address. So there is plenty for me to be going on with the them and there business and companies house etc. So I have done as much as i can from home at this stage but now i have get my ass out and do some more digging, so I'm off to there local reference library where they will hold more detailed records of the voters list going back to the time i need, but i need to know what else i can gain from public records and more importantly what info will i need to gain things like birth/death/marriage certs not to mention divorce papers and as I say ANYTHING else that is in the public domain including the mothers will. In a nutshell I want as much as i can get, I don't have access to plod anymore so my only route is legal route, so any help or suggestion would be more then welcome, i do have a few hundred quid to throw at this but not thousands, so any advice is welcome.
