Does anyone use a cheap delivery service in the UK? I'm trying to send a 22" LCD TV to a UK address (don't have postcode yet) it's only 59cm x 43cm x 15cm and weighs about 7KG parcel force want £22 to send it tracked and £13 untracked & unsigned, just wondering if i have any other options, it's leaving from an E14 postcode but dont have del postcode as yet. I gave up looking for second hand it was not worth it as they were going for too much money so i just bought new, a Samsung UE32ES5500 it cost £329 with a free 5 year warranty and a Samsung WIS12ABGN thrown in as well, it's only for the bedroom and wil only get a couple of hours use a week so could not justift sepnding silly money on it, given fleabay have been selling them for £295 with 3 months warranty and £299 for 12 months i think i done ok, nice that it has wifi i can strem from my WD TV Live now. Hopefully one of you lot got a nice new TV for crimbo and need to sell an old 32". I need the following from it: LED Backlit Min of 3 HDMI 1 USB Freeview HD Netflix Wireless (via dongle if need be) Finally not a super glossy screen finish (not like glass effect) If anyone has anything matches these specs then let me know make and model and asking prices, of course we'll have to sort ofut some form of del, i don't mind if it has sone dings on it, so long as it works fine, it's only for the bedroom and won't get much use, so anyone have anything like it as sales seem like a load of poo right now. That's what i was doing m8, as i say i hadn't posted just to let the dust settle and what good did it do? Agreed but none of this was in the heat of the moment, cold hard light of day and told to grow a pair, i'm not throwing my toys out of the pram or anything like that, just was hoping things had moved on but it would seem not. Shame as I would have hoped you woud have done that for me, never mind it's your site and I'll change my settings so i get no notifications I appreciate that Jamer and as a rule it's been a blast, as for my "loayalty" to Sparks it has nothing to do with it (honestly) we have exchanged a few emails and that is it, Christ knows if i'll ever hear from him again, I personaly hope so as i had a huge fondness for the man, but it's not blind loyalty. As for him being loyal to me! Well he owes me nothing, all i asked from him was if he found another uk based forum he could call home was to let me know as i say i like him, sorry if that makes me a fool in some peoples eyes but i'm not hurting anybody. Hi Jamer, you may or may not have noticed i have not posted since sparks has left, I just wanted to let things calm down but tonights comments by some people is the final nail in the coffin for me, if you value the input I have put in to Jamers over the last xx number of years please do me a favour and wipe my account, i feel it's not much to ask given the time and effort I have put in here. I'd like to thank you for making this place my default location after my home page loads for many years now and as a rule it's been great but I don't see the need for some of the recent comments that have been made, I'd also like to thanks the like of Mr D, DJ, derren, Edge, RABC, Orge, Sir Zorro, greenmachine (Thanks for the motherboards m8, still working as a server) and of course yourself for helping me learn so much over the years. I'll be checking in Wed some time hopefully my account will be gone, I know sparks asked the same and his account is still active but please Jamer do this for me. One final word must go to Dave (The Mod), Dave you are a true Gent and i only wish I had you as a friend away from the board, I cannot tell you how much i have valued your frindship, I wish you and your family all the best for the future m8, take care. :Thumbs_Up1: All1

wELL i FOR ONE AM GRATEFUL FOR THE FULL DISCLOSURE, (sorry about the caps), so thanks for that Jamer. However lets get something straight, it is Jamers board and he can do what he wants I have no issue with that if i don't agree with what he does then i can vote with my feet like Sparks has done. IMO the first exchange of PM's with Jamer and Sparks was in a good nature and i don't think for a minute harm was meant by any of them, but what YOU ALL HAVE TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT is Sparks hatered on censorship in all forms (however being a Dad I know he would have no objection to kiddy porn being cencored/wiped) but from what i know of him censorship in any other form is out, now you don't have to agree with him (and that's cool) but understand that is the man he is, where is the crime in him having his views, just because he does not agree with yours, hell even to this day i'd reckon him & I will come to blows over views of Maggie but i can and do respect his views, why can nobody else do this? OK thanks for the explanation Jamer, I know you and the mods remove very little, and IMO that's cool i think the only stuff i'd remove would be unsuitable porn, but it's your board and you do as you see fit. However I think it's off you (or any mod) removed a post just because it does not fit with your view on the royal's, just for your info i think most royals are cool and well worth the money in the long run, so it would not have been my fav thread but that is just my opinion and would not have agreed with him but surely he is allowed to express his thoughts no matter if we agree with him or not, otherwise we do we (as part of the pad) draw the line? Yea having re read his post i'm very intrested in his comment Can a mod or Jamer shed some light on this for me and others? Well The Fonz & Web Dragon if this is the case then I can only presume with Sparks gone or going then the post count will increase as well as the quality of posts working on that thought process, I have been here for longer then i care to remember and it was never warez only forum there has always been debate on other matters. As has been discussed before he thinks we live in a police state and he is the only one who thinks that, i think were heading that way and it would seem everyone else thinks we still live in a totally free society, but if you don't agree with him challenge him and if you can't agree then leave it at that, sometimes there is no right or wrong just different points of view. The majority of Sparks's posts are polictial based but not everytime, he should have been left to post what he wanted and if you don't like it ignore him, it's simple it's what i do when i see posts from other people it's simple. This IS where I agree with Sparks 100% it's like the DNA situation we have, sureif i'm nicked then take my prints then my DNA search database to see if i have done something if not then they should be wiped, after all it has been proved time and time again that govt dept can't be trusted with our data, what is to stop the govt taking my dna sample and selling it if i was prone to a certain illness to a certain drug company but i guess that would never happen, after all your data at DVLA used to be safe once now it's up to sale to almost anyone, but i guess some will say i'm wrong.
