  3. Evans as we know 5/10 Sabine Schmitz 7/10 nice girl but do wonder if she will get the British sense of humour David Coulthard, 6/10 Could be funny if he (& the beeb) let's himself go a bit Finally Chris Harris (WTF), never heard of him to be honest but from i have seen online the word that comes to mind is "Dull" Well they say this line up is 95% sure, so if it is guess i'll have to find something else to do with my Sunday Nights. 5. But i'm sure that goes back to early 2000's I must admit i don't often have the need for 10k in cash but sometimes cash is still king in some situations, so anything of 7k i need to explain to some little git behind a glass screen, after all who's money is it? I'm glad i don't have pots of money any more, i would not know where to shove it. i don't trust the "reasons" behind it personally, it is a nice way to keep the great unwashed under control even more. 7. I have spoken to Jamer and he says it's ok to post this, so Jamer. I'm looking for a forum (hopefully in the UK) that has a wealth of knowledge dealing with batteries, both normal and all forms of rechargeable and the chargers that are used to recharge them, i'm looking for info on advantage of NiCd/NiMH/Li-ion/Li-ion Polymer etc, advantage of buying quick chargers over trickle the damage they may do to cells etc, at this stage i'm looking at AA and AAA but may look at others at a later stage. If any of you have any links to other forums (or any other site) that be of use please let me know, please bear in mind Jamers rules If your unsure if you should post the link in the forum then feel free to PM me, I don't mind if it's a forum just for batteries or a electronics forum with battery section, just anything to help me learn would be helpfull. All1

  10. Didn't buy it in the end going to wait till show in Feb in Birmingham, I'm hoping a new poled (easy to put up, Khyan) tent will be out from Khyam, if not then i would have missed out on a decent deal just hope me waiting will be worthwhile. All1
  11. I saw that on UK Hot Deals today and am very tempted, price is awesome my only worry is some reviews says it leaks a bit, i'm torn if i should buy now or wait till Feb when camping show will go live in Birmingham and see what is on offer for 2016 range, I have checked ebay and 2 have sold over last few months and went for £210 & £310 so i guess i won't be loosing much if i do buy another in Feb and flog this one, phew will have to make my mind up quick at that price i think, thanks for giving me the nudge. 12. If i remember this was about the last flight of the Vulcan, if so you may be intrested in this DJ. Sunday 29th Nov 2015 @7.30 on Ch 4 Guy Martin: Last Flight of the Vulcan Bomber. When the most fabulously sci-fi warplane Britain has ever made took its final flight, crowds gathered around the country from Edinburgh to the Severn Bridge to wave it on its way. “It’s going to be emotional,” says Guy Martin as he plays his part in the engineering work to get Avro Vulcan XH558 ready for its curtain call. You don’t have to be an aeroplane nut to grasp what a stunning machine it is, with its stealth-like delta wings and distinctive engine howl – although we also gather it’s an odd beast. Its 1950s design quirks include, amid all the hi-tech, a soup warmer that took 90 minutes to work (“You what?!” squawks Martin) and no ejector seats for half the crew. About this programme The mechanic joins a select crew of engineers working to prepare the last Vulcan bomber that is capable of flight for a farewell tour of the UK. The programme features contributions from former crew members, who recall its service in conflicts from the 1950s to the Falklands, as well as serving as Britain's nuclear deterrent. Any use to you? 15. OK no worries Jamer thanks for hitting him up as i said to to cobra i may well have to hit the local plumbers merchants and see what gives otherwise it's back to the drawing board, all this to keep paperwork safe All1
  16. Funny you should mention that site that is one i had looked at and this item would have been perfect if just a bit longer http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/Survival_Capsule/p474753_3347609.aspx Might have to wait for a clear day and wizz round some plumber's merchants in SE London and see what gives, can't understand why this kind of thing is so hard to find, if nothing else sailors must need it for vital paperwork in A4 form. All1
  17. Hi Jamer ok i have looked round tons of marine outlets looking for this but nothing has been found, so going down the DIY route. I'm looking for a round plastic tube, bit like a smarties tube but A4 in length (32 -33cm) and about 7cm wide, and then getting the 2 ends to screw in using rubber washers as the waterproof bit, it's just a longer version of ebay item number 271910381774, now i'm looking for plumber for his/her knowledge on if such a thing can be made if so what bits do i ask for. I have looked round screwfix and plumbase but it might as well be in German Something like this http://www.bladehq.com/item--Exotac-LIFECAP-Carbon-Fiber--12250 All1
  18. Those pop up ones i think end up going back into a circle to pack away and if that is the one then it's a nightmare, i'd end up binning it All1
  19. Yea I have planned a john o'groats to lands end trip was hoping it would be summer of 2016 but that may well be put off till summer 2017 as i want to make sure i'm right for it physically/mentally not to mention financially as it's something i have always wanted to do since i was about 17, but health is not great so need to work on that, and was thinking on the trip i'd like to mix up sleeping arrangements from wild camping in Scotland to official sites in England/Wales (may pop over to Ireland), never having camped before i'm looking at either these newish air tents which you just pump up or the more traditional route of poles but not normal poles these would be the quick snap in poles that take about 10 mins to put up, tents i like are all about 20-25KG mark which is a wee bit heavy given all the other stuff i'm going to have to carry, i'm happy to wash in stream etc now and then but still want a shower most days if i can get it, i'm still a bit of a pussy to be honest and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these pump up tents.
