Excellent Jamer. I know you are very proud of her. I saw a video you posted of her singing in a choir and she was excellent in that.

Brill @Divvy - I have only once about 25 years ago used a travel agent. All my holidays, trips etc and they have been many are we me booking everything myself. I had a business where we booked stag and hen parties so always been partial to doing things myself. However I have noticed in the last few years travel agents catching up. My friends booked trailfinders to Thailand and they had it cheaper than the usual individual bookings and trailfinders are not usually cheap. @Jamer - looking for summer holidays so say end july start of Aug. Me and Mrs and 11 year old. Fancy a half board if possible. Be grateful for some suggestions and Lanzarote was somewhere I had in mind.

Guys, I could talk for hours about South East Asia as a holiday destination. I could also write a book on Thailand. I have been to most European capital cities, however I know very little about the good holiday resorts of Europe. This would be with wife and daughter in summer holiday time for schools next year. Looking for something like Greece or Canary Islands althrough consider anywhere really. Budget around £1500 total if thats possble. Nice beach, views and swimming pools etc. Also something to do as I don't like to sit on beach all day but do enjoy a walk on a nice beach and a swim in crystal waters. Recommendations for somewhere like this in Europe where you have been. Thanks Derren

Does anyone have accesst to mailing lists such as all the garden centres in the UK, and possibly other mailing lists broken down into sectors? We have all the schools which we were after. Of course you can buy these but they must obtain the info somewhere. Cheers Derren

Funny as watched tremors a few weeks back and is just as great. The kids watched it too and I was like - watch this kids it fab. Then it was on other night and mate said on facebook he was watching it. So currently i am having fun "educating" the kids with proper films such as Alien, Aliens (yes they are a bit young at 10), Ferris Brullers day off, They Live, splash, gremlins. All these films I am sure they would never watch as they would rather the current offerings from holywood which mostly are rubbish. Derren

Sods. Which car park mate. Most of them are so small you can not get out the doors if parked next to cars. A few months back in Hereford I pulled over by multi-story to let wife out car. It was double yellow I must admit. A taxi was in front also on double yellows. I waited for him to go to see him put it in reverse and reverse straight into my car causing damage - only a little it seemed but there was damage. He drove off after giving details as there was witnesses. When I went through insurance he denied it. I gave him a right verbal on the phone and I was going to visit him but was stopped by wife. Took 5 months to sort out. Got hire car in the end for 10 days while sorted at £148 per day. He paid for that. He could have got away with a repair privately which I offered first of all for around £150.00 as that was what someone estimated that I know. I reckon his insurance bill would have been around £2k in the end. He excess I know was 1k. Derren
