Not bothered about much TV, but was just in the middle of a film..! Finally came back about 6pm today, but all they had removed was analogue BBC2... Apparently all the rest of the analogue channels will go in 2 weeks time, so it'll be a retune again....

Well that went well... :Hmm: Lost all signal at midnight, and now nothing...no channels, analogue OR digital! The words p*ss-up and brewery come to mind!

I was going to mention that this was a topic I could have started! So if those with widely differing views can agree on this, there is hope it can be opposed!

Privatising the police force means that (as stated) whilst they have little accountability now, in the future there will be none! Of course firms such as Blackwater will eventually step in to 'ease the public finances', and before we know it we will have a militarised police force in conjuntion with an eventually privatised justice system! No comeback, no accountability, arbitrary/summary justice, and complete suppression of any dissenting views! Anyone else wondered why the government has been slashing the existing police budget so much in times of (real) rising crime?... :Winky: So the future of HMP UK is that anonymous thugs will be in control.... And guess where that will lead!

Proxify tends not to work very well with google amongst others - good for testing other proxies though! I'm just trying to get gmail blocked from my server completely - by default they are harvesting data on recipients too!

You know the solution DJ... Apart from buying 'commodities' *, get hold of a currency that might hold it's value if it's allowed to survive - NKr ! It's always been the plan to devalue/inflate to wipe out the debt the banks ran up and reduce the 99% to serfdom again! * For those who can't afford to buy real commodities, stock up on fags and booze - a universal currency! Of course nothing is said there about the long predicted (by some... :Winky: ) chaos that is building up, so maybe we ought to be working out how we hold onto what we can.. Although personally I'm looking forward to a 're-alignment' of the system through whatever means - because what we have now is completely unsustainable!
