He works in cold hard cash :Scull: For the last year my transport business has been slowly but surely going down the tubes from loss of work with customers cutting back due to the financial crisis. My income this year was projected to be over £25000 down on 2009, and expenses over £12000 up. My monthly income after all the XX's was down from £4.5K last year to well below £2K now  and for the last month I've been seriously considering winding up the company around Christmas time if things did not pick up. In order to get some much needed funds in, last month I took on a job to clear out some store rooms under 4 blocks of apartments in Oslo, for £5K. It's taken myself and a friend 4 weeks to complete, but we were only working 2 and a half days a week on it, and we've moved more than 20 tons of crap to the dump. We had a few gems that we found in amongst it all, that have increased the money to just over £8K, and we managed to get the local Polish dustmen to take away a lot of stuff for a small back-hander :Teeth: But the real gem has just struck this evening . . . I have just been asked if we will take on the job of maintenance managers for the blocks, and after seeing the figures I have accepted. I am now the maintenance manager for this set of apartment blocks: Google maps link on the princely sum of Kr65000 a month (about £7K), after tax etc, that should be around £5K, and for that I have to be on site for general maintenance and cleaning work about 3 days a week for 3 or 4 hours a day, any extra work is classed as callouts and earns Kr400 (£40) an hour. Most Norgies wouldn't even entertain this sort of work, they're all after IT or high tech stuff, but someone has to do it, and it pays well, so why not me :Thumbs_Up1: Onward and upwards . . . . this time next year we'll be millionaires . . . . well, not quite

OK, sorry for the delay, been busy munching crisps !! Do you want full bags or just the wrappers ?? I can get some in the post to you on Monday or Tuesday, whichever you need.

I can send you Lays bags squire . . . they're only "foreign" Walkers, but we don't have many flavours, only about 4 of them . . . what do you want ?

Can anyone help me out here ? One of the tracks included with a request list for a forthcoming wedding I'm DJ'ing is used in the movie Police Academy 5, in the limbo dancing on the beach scene. I have tried all the usual sources to find info on it, even wrote to WBros (no reply yet), and had absolutely no luck except finding the scene on YooToob, so I'm currently downloading the whole movie from a torrent as a last resort to find the info in the end credits, but it's going to take about 3 weeks at the current download rate and I only have 8 days left !! Has anyone got this movie ?? Could you take a quick look at the end credits for me and get the details, pretty please :Smiler:

Well we've all heard the "old people" going on about "it was much harder in my days", I'm guilty of it myself . . . a lot !! Well now you can all see the truth for yourself, online copies of examination papers from various years are now available on a few sites for you to compare for yourself. I did, but I won't tell you the result, you should check them out for yourself: 1968 Maths O Level Paper 1968 11+, all 3 exam papers 2009 GCSE modular paper Try them, you might be surprised . . . No cheating now :Scull:

Another thought has just come to mind . . . In these days of "everyone's a criminal till they proove otherwise", I wonder if Ol' Penis Head will have to have an enhanced CR check before they allow him near any kiddies !! :Scull:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-10842745 But, apart from all the controversy over his covering up of kiddie fiddling, I wonder if anyone has thought about what those logo's will look like under a bit of UV light . . . hint --> :Furious:

Lost me mam last night to the big C, definately caused by years of smoking, even after medical advice to stop or it would kill her. She went peacfully in her sleep in hospital at 3:30 this morning, where's she's been high on Morphine for a while (unbeknown to me, as no-one informed me till yesterday afternoon). She's been slowly deteriorating for 10 years, and the last 5 she's been dragging an oxygen bottle everywhere, it may sound heartless, but in a way it's a relief to see her finaly go, she's suffered quite a bit the last few years, even though she did eventually stop. Ironicaly, she's been outlived by my Grandad, her dad, who chain smoked for about 50 years, and gave up on the spot about 25 years ago when he was told the same. RIP Mam, I'll be downing a few for you tonight.

I can get that for you squire, I have a Bookers account, and that's one of their own brands, it's £1.59 a bottle. I think it's possible for us to order it from your nearest Booker in our company name, and you would collect and pay cash for it as if you're doing it for us. Failing that, my brother does all our collecting and shipping from Swansea, he could pick one up for you next time he's there and post it to you, bearing in mind though, it's over a kilo, so the postage will still not be cheap If you're interested, let me know and I'll make enquiries and get back to you.

I've watched this a few times now, and tears are streaming down my face, I'm ###### myself laughing  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNfbX6uvA6s Make sure you read the subtitled lyrics

At an average of 9 hours a day, that's over 98 THOUSAND hours !! . . . bloody hell :Surprise: Did you know though, since the UK voltage was harmonised DOWNWARDS into line with the EU, older lamps (from the pre harmonisation days) do last a hell of a lot longer. Just watch, it'll "pop" tomorrow now you've been "bragging" about it
