i found some info but i dont know if this helps
Login to the router, defualt login is admin, default password is sky
Go to Security-> Service-> Add custom service-> Port Forwarding.
Follow the prompts, it's pretty simple.
Save That, then go to Security->Firewall->Inbound connection rules
Add-> then once again, follow the prompts.
Save that, and see if it works.
If it doesn't, then I'm guessing you are on windows Vista or Windows 7.
The router may be port forwarding, but Windows firewall probably isn't allowing the connection. Inbound connections (generally) are not allowed by default.
Right click the the network icon in the system tray (bottom right of windows screen), click Network and Sharing center.
Around the bottom left, click Windows Firewall.
In Vista, click Allow program or feature, the add port, follow the prompts.
In windows 7, click advanced settings on the left side.
Click inbound rules on the left side, then New Rule on the right side.
Select Port, then follow the prompts.
Test it out.
You should know that you WON'T be able to connect from inside your network to the external IP/Port, you _must_ come from outside the network for the port forwarding to work.
Inside the network, you simply use the local (probably 192.168.x.x) IP
