sparks
It's an old adage, but very true of our so called 'civilised society'... Of course we can rely on the muppets in charge to calm things down, can't we? Government intent on creating fuel crisis Representatives of petrol station operators said that the Government action could see forecourts run dry within days. Petrol sales soared by 45 per cent yesterday, after the Government suggested people should stock up on fuel as a "precaution" against a possible strike by tanker workers over the Easter weekend. Francis Maude, the Cabinet Secretary, today told drivers they should make sure they have enough fuel in their vehicles and "maybe a little bit in their garage as well in a jerry can". However, both the AA and firefighters have now called on him to withdraw the advice, because of the risk of explosions in garages. Not to mention storing petrol is illegal... How come the minister hasn't been charged with 'incitement to commit a criminal act'? As mentioned in the article there are far fewer forecourts than in 2000, so this time the effect will be much greater than last time around... And the panic buying at the supermarkets won't be too far around the corner Chaos is the only way to attack a corrupt system...But I would prefer that the action takes place during the Olympics for maximum effect!
