Alloneword
Formatting should not be an issue itself Dave, the data will still be there just the partition info is missing, I can't postt he link here but i will send you a PM of somewhere that may be able to help. Let me know how you get on. All1
daveb47
Not too bothered about recovery, problem is that drive no longer shows on pc apart from in bios, not in my computor or in partition manager.
Alloneword
try booting from some all in one boot disk that run before you get into the OS, like the old days of Hirens, that way your not dealing with the OS in way shape or form, trust me dave having had the month (more like 6 weeks) from hell where 5 of my drives have died i have had some dealings with the apps in the last 6 weeks and some work and some don't, i'm not to sure about Partition Manager but if that is Paragons (spelling) offering then i found that sh1t, but you have nothing to lose in downloading them and giving them a go only time but given your internet is fast it should not take long at all but for me at 3mbit it took ages to leech them, did you get my PM and offer? cobra
Is this the OS drive or a 2nd drive in the pc or is it on usb If it's the first it's going to be a hard to fix if it's the 2nd or 3rd get a free app called partition wizard. https://www.partitionwizard.com/ Install to windows run it and see if the drive shows up on this and post back what it say's if this works for you.
